Black Stars coach, Otto Addo, has visited injured defender Mohammed Salisu in France, wishing him well and lifting his spirits after a successful surgery for an Anterior Cruciate Ligament (ACL) injury.

Salisu, a key member of the Black Stars, had undergone surgery following the injury sustained in a French Ligue 1 match against Olympique Lyon.

He had featured in eight of Ghana's 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers, scoring two goals. Otto Addo's visit highlights his commitment to team building and solidarity, following similar visitations to Kwasi Sibo, Ernest Nuamah, and Mohammed Kudus. The former Borussia Dortmund coach will lead Ghana to its 5th World Cup appearance, facing Panama, England, and Croatia in the upcoming tournament in Mexico, Canada, and the United States.

Ghana's campaign begins against Panama in Toronto, followed by matches against England and Croatia in Boston and Philadelphia, respectively.
