Aduana Football Club edged AshantiGold 1-0 in their match day 32 fixture at the Nana Agyemang Badu I stadium Monday morning.
Emmanuel Osei Baffuor scored the only goal of the match in the 76th minute to move the Ogya lads a step closer to a top four finish two matches to end the season. The match was rained off on Sunday afternoon and was rescheduled for Monday.
The first half was virtually balanced as both sides created few scoring chances in the game.
Osei Baffour broke the hearts of his former team as smashed home the winner 14 minutes from time to give the hosts all the points.
Aduana FC moves to the fifth position on the premiership standings with 49 points while AshantiGold remain in 9th place in the league table.
