Asante Kotoko were held to a goalless draw at the Baba Yara Stadium on Sunday when they played as hosts to Great Olympics.

Coach David Duncan's side were hoping to build upon Thursday's 5-1 victory over Birim DC United in the FA Cup, but an impressive performance by Olympics gave them a point in the game.

Defending Champions Kotoko are now 8 points behind League leaders Ashantigold while Great Olympics are 9th with 19 points.

At the Bechem United Park, Bechem United beat Heart of Lions 2-0 to move to 10th on the League log.

Lions on the other hand have maintained their second position on the table though they are now just one point above fourth placed WAFA.
