From one big clash to the other. The Accra derby is the pick of the weekend’s Glo Premier League action on the last weekend before Christmas Day.

Champions Hearts of Oak renew their rivalry with city folks, Great Olympics on Sunday at the Ohene Djan Stadium.

This fixture was off the calendar the previous season as the Wonder Boys were strutting it out in division one.

But, having returned to the elite division, Olympics have a job on their hands as they renew old ties when they host their rivals.

The Phobians, fresh from last Sunday’s big win over Kotoko face another daunting task as their climb off the mid ranks of the table will be tested by Olympics, who are two points behind the champions.

Elsewhere, leaders Kessben smarting from their defeat last weekend will be at home to Liberty Professionals at the Anane Boateng Stadium.

Liberty will be looking to end their poor run in recent times having lost their last two games under coach Sellas Tetteh.

At the Golden City Park, second-placed Berekum Arsenals host Real Tamale United while Aduana Stars make the short trip to the Coronation Park to meet Bechem Chelsea.

Heart of Lions will need to rediscover their ruthless form if they stand the chance to pick all three points at the Len Clay Stadium where they clash with AshantiGold.

With three wins on the bounce, All Stars face a big test when they welcome New Edubiase to the Wa Park.

Asante Kotoko might have spiked reports of an internal crisis but the Porcupine Warriors have failed to convince that all is well.

After their defeat to Hearts in Accra, Kotoko have attracted bad press for their goalkeeper's - Soulama's - post match conduct but they will try to get things right.

Kotoko, lying 13th have an opportunity to haul themselves back into the title push starting with the visit of Hasaacas.

Life at the bottom continues for C.K. Akunnor’s Eleven Wise as they take on King Faisal at the Sekondi Stadium.
