A last-gasp goal from Bernard Ofori earned a crucial 1-0 home win for New Edubiase against Medeama on Saturday at the Gyamfi Park.

With Edubiase missing the touch of Emmanuel Baffour, who is with the Ghana squad in South Africa preparing for the African Nations Cup, it took the Bekwai side 92 minutes before hitting the back of the net.

The second half substitute escaped his markers to plant the ball past an impressive Mumuni Tagoe in goal for Medeama in the 92nd minute.

Edubiase now moves to fourth on the standings with the bulk of the matches coming up on Sunday.
