The Northern Regional Football Association (RFA) has received a brand new pickup vehicle from the Association through the FIFA Forward Programme to support football administration and development in the region.
The vehicle was officially presented to the Northern RFA Chairman, Alhaji Abu Hassan, who expressed his appreciation to the leadership of the GFA for the gesture.
“The presentation of this pickup vehicle by the Ghana Football Association is a significant boost to football administration in the Northern Region,” he said. “On behalf of the entire Regional Football Association, I would like to express our sincere appreciation to the leadership of the GFA for this thoughtful support.”
According to him, the vehicle will play an important role in enhancing the operational capacity of the Regional Football Association, particularly in the monitoring of competitions and engagement with clubs across the region.
“This vehicle will greatly enhance our ability to effectively monitor competitions, visit clubs, and support the development of football across the region. We assure the GFA that the vehicle will be put to good and responsible use in the service of football development in the Northern Region,” he added.
The Northern and the Greater Accra Regional Football Associations are the latest beneficiaries of the vehicles provided under the FIFA Forward Programme. The remaining eight regions received their vehicles several months ago as part of the GFA’s commitment to strengthening football administration and improving logistical support for Regional Football Associations across the country.
