Black Maidens midfielder Lily Niber-Lawrence says Ghana must not relax against Canada as the group phase comes to an end this weekend at the U-17 FIFA Women's World Cup.

Ghana, after two wins top the standing in Group B ahead of their meeting with second-placed, Canada, who have two points while Germany and Korea DPR have one point apiece.

Qualification to the next round is already secured but Niber-Lawrence insists the Black Maidens must strive to match the wins recorded in their two previous games on Saturday evening when they face the Canadians in Tibas.

"We wont take it too relaxed. It's a tough match for us because they are coming all out. If they win, they qualify to the next stage. We wont let them down. We are going all out. We want to top our group without conceding a goal,” said Niber-Lawrence.

Ghana won bronze two years ago in Azerbaijan but following a bright start in Costa Rica, the midfielder is setting her sights on the ultimate.

“We want to carry the Cup home because we came with the aim of winning the Cup," said the player who is making her second appearance at the World Cup.

“My personal target is to make a good name by his Grace and also to let my people in Ghana know that as we are in Costa Rica, we are making a good name for ourselves and also the country."
