Ghana are set to face the Netherlands in their second warm up match just days before coach Kwesi Appiah announces his final 23-man squad for the World Cup.

The game in Rotterdam at 18:30 GMT [6:30pm local time] remains crucial to both coach and players.

For players pushing to force their name into the Black Stars squad, the match against the Dutch represents a big opportunity.

Ghana, who have spent the last five days in Holland preparing for this match will eager to win to boost their confidence before the team jets out to Miami at the weekend to continue with preparations.

After a 6-1 win against a local-select side in their send-off match last week, Appiah expects the Dutch's Oranje to test his side.

Appiah, who is not giving any hints about his possible starting team would be looking out for so many things in his team ahead of their opening clash against the United States in Group G in Brazil on 16 June.

"There is this kind of competition, no one is sure of himself a the moment. Everybody is attentive to whatever is taught in training. Everyone tries to do whatever he can and for me, it's good for the team and I am really impressed," the Ghana coach said this week.

For Wesley Sneijder, the prospect of testing their new 5-3-2 formation against Ghana will be exciting with Dutch coach Louis van Gaal having opted for that system ahead of the tournament in Brazil.

"I'm really curious to see how we are going to play against Ghana. We can not expect 100 per cent perfection, so it still will not be all rosy," said Sneijder.
