The stage is set for a thrilling encounter as Nations FC take on Aduana FC in the first semi-final of the 2025/26 MTN FA Cup. The highly anticipated clash is scheduled for Friday, April 17, 2026, at the Swedru Sports Stadium, where both sides will battle for a coveted place in the final.

Despite struggling for consistency in the Premier League, Nations FC have been a different force entirely in the FA Cup, showcasing resilience, discipline and a growing sense of belief. The Abrankese-based club began their campaign in emphatic fashion, recording a commanding 2-0 victory over Ebony FC  in the Round of 64 at the Dr. Kwame Kyei Sports Complex.

They followed up with an impressive wins against AshantiGold 04 and Swedru All Blacks to secure a place in the quarter-finals. Their toughest test came against Berekum Chelsea, where after a tense goalless draw, Nations FC held their nerve to claim a 4-3 victory on penalties—booking their place in the last four.

Having endured early exits in previous editions, Nations FC are determined to rewrite their FA Cup story this season. Head coach Frimpong Manso will be eager to lead his side to their first final under his tenure, a milestone that could mark a defining moment in the club’s history.

Standing in their way, however, is a seasoned and formidable Aduana FC side, widely regarded as one of the competition’s strongest contenders.

The “Fire Club” have navigated their path to the semi-finals with authority and composure. They opened their campaign with a 2-1 victory over Bechem United in the Round of 64 before dispatching Berekum Chelsea 2-0 at the Golden City Park.

Aduana FC then overcame giants Asante Kotoko in a dramatic penalty shootout, winning 4-2 after a goalless draw in regulation time. They sealed their semi-final spot in style with a dominant 3-0 victory over Techiman Liberty in the quarter-finals.

With both teams demonstrating grit and quality on their journey to this stage, Friday’s showdown promises to be a captivating contest.
