Sulley Muntari scored in first-half injury time to give defending champion Inter Milan a 1-0 win over Genoa on Friday night in Serie A.
The win sees Inter move into second place with 18 points, one behind Lazio and one ahead of AC Milan (5-1-2).
The Ghana midfielder has barely featured under the new coach, Rafael Benítez, this term but, after coming on for the injured Esteban Cambiasso, he unleashed a 25-yard drive which deflected off the Genoa goalkeeper into the net.
