Skyy FC coach, Christian Lokko, says his team is poised for a win over Dreams FC in the semi-final of the MTN FA Cup. 

The Daboase based side are set for a cracker against Dreams FC at Kwame Kyei Sports Complex on Saturday, May 13, 2023.

"My players are highly motivated, both intrinsically and extrinsically. I've met them halfway, and I can see that the work has been done. Victory is ours." Lokko told the press in Kumasi on Thursday.

“Our duty is to train the boys. The boys' duty is to play and play very well. Other matters are for management."

“We have demonstrated over the periods that we are good enough to win the Cup. Most of our wins, including Heart of Lions, came away from home so we are not intimated at all”

“We are overly motivated to make history in 2023 having missed out last season after the loss to Accra Hearts of Oak in the quarter finals” Coach Lokko added.

Both teams are determined to progress to the final and lift the coveted trophy.

Dreams FC were beaten 3-2 by eventual winners Accra Hearts of Oak in the semi finals last season and will be looking to go a step further this time.

Skyy FC who were quarter finalists in last seasons championship are the only remaining second tier side in the competition.

The match is scheduled for 3pm kick at Dr. Kwame Kyei Sports complex and broadcast live on StarTimes Adepa channel 247.
