The hosts managed a 2-1 victory to enhance their title-winning ambitions with the finals coming up on Saturday against Togo.

Ghana drew first blood from a penalty kick in the second half but the Super Eagles got an equaliser before winning the game in the second half of extra time.

David Duncan's Meteors would play Liberia, losers of the other last-four match in a third-place play off before the final match.
