Inmates of a local home in Kasoa, a suburb in the Ghanaian capital of Accra were given a pre-Christmas Day treat by Ghana international Jonathan Mensah.

The 20 year-old defender on the eve of Christmas presented the Royal Seed Children’s Home with goods worth GH¢2,000 for their festive season's celebrations.

Mensah also handed the Home a cash donation of GH¢ 500.

“It’s a joyous day and I really like to see them happy and play around. I believe these little ones should also benefit from what God has given to us,” Mensah said making the donation.

“We must always keep in mind that we have to give back to society and I believe this is what I can do to bring joy to my little brothers and sisters.

“I think no one brought these children here, its just nature and destiny and we shouldn’t forget them, we have to remember them all time. I brought this for them and its their Christmas gift. I think they will enjoy it.”
