Medeama SC clinched the 2022/23 betPawa Premier League crown after an astonishing 3-0 win over Tamale City at Akoon Park Sunday.

The two-time FA Cup champions went into the game knowing that a draw or victory would secure them a historic League title.

Medeama SC took the lead in the 8th minute through a sensational effort from Joshua Agyemang.

The Tarkwa lads added two quick fire goals in the second half to wrap up an eventual afternoon.

Jonathan Sowah got his name on the scoresheet to compete the rout. The intelligent attacker scored two goals in 9 minutes as the mauves and yellows romped to a 3-0 win.

Sowah added to the tally in the 68th minute before adding the third goal inside 77 minutes.
