Medeama have secured their place in the last four of the GHALCA Glo G8 after beating Ebusua Dwarfs 2-1 on Thursday with ten men.

With the opening half not producing any goal, the 26th minute dismissal of Daniel Ocran was the highlight of the game before the break at the Sekondi Stadium.

Despite being a man down, Medeama broke the deadlock when a freekick by Kwabena Edusei, deflected off an opponent on its way in, with goalkeeper Adade Foli completely beaten on 53 minutes.

Dwarfs got their equaliser with 9 minutes remaining on the clock when captain Bismark Asiedu rose to head in from a freekick.

However, Francis Coffie ensured Medeama finished winners, scoring the match winner with two minutes to go.

Liberty Professionals exited from the competition after going down 2-0 to AshantiGold.
