AMPEM DARKOA LADIES VRS PEARL PIA LADIES

League leaders PearlPia Ladies will test their strength against Ampem Darkoa Ladies on matchday five of the Women’s Premier League at the Ohene Ameyaw Park at Techiman. It has not been a good run to the season for Champions, Ampem Darkoa Ladies who are in third place with 7 points – three adrift of Pearl Pia Ladies following their 2-1 defeat to Fabulous Ladies on Sunday. This will be a good test for both sides as they will hope to get all maximum points at stake. A win for Pear Pia Ladies will further tighten their grip at the top of the Northern zone table while Ampem Darkoa Ladies aim to return to winning ways to restore some pride.

TAMALE SUPER LADIES VRS FABULOUS LADIES

Fabulous Ladies after putting up an impressive performance last season are yet to find their feet after match day 4.  The Kumasi based side will travel up north to face newbies, Tamale Super Ladies who have already lost two games. Tamale Super Ladies suffered a heavy 6:0 defeat at the Bantama Astro turf when they played Dreamz Ladies. Fabulous’ Ladies prolific striker, Princess Owusu has 3 goals and will be expecting to lead the attack for her side.

SUPREME LADIES VRS DREAMZ LADIES

The Bantama Astro turf will host the regional derby between Supreme Ladies and Dreamz Ladies. Dreamz Ladies returned to winning ways last week when they put six past Tamale Super Ladies on Matchday four. Skipper Stella Nyamekye put up a splendid performance by scoring two goals and winning the MVP award. Supreme Ladies on the other hand lost 2:0 to Prisons Ladies at the Coronation Park and would aim for the points at home to get their season back on track. Both teams haven’t had a good run but Dreamz Ladies would have a slight advantage ahead of Supreme Ladies going into this fixture.

NORTHERN LADIES VRS CANDY SOCCER ACADEMY

Northern Ladies have failed to pick up a single win in the last four as they lie second from bottom with three points – three draws in four matches. They come up against newly promoted Candy Soccer Academy at the Aliu Mahama Sports Stadium. This promises to be a game of equals in terms of performance as both sides lie bottom of the standings with 3 points each. The debutants are finding it hard in the top tier league and have conceded the highest number of goals - 12 goals in the season.

ASHTOWN LADIES VRS PRISONS LADIES

Ashtown Ladies and Prison Ladies will battle it out for the three points in this fixture at the Bantama Astro turf in Kumasi. Both teams have put up good performances in their previous matches but Prisons ladies go into this fixture at the back of a 2:0 win against Supreme Ladies whilst Ashtown Ladies drew with Northern Ladies away from home. Ashtown Ladies have had a decent form at home and will hope to utilise on that to get all maximum points.
