Ghana's women U-17 team are confident of beating South Africa on Friday to pick their spot at the FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup.

Both teams will play their second leg of the final round of qualifying at the Accra Sports Stadium with kick off at 3:00pm [15:00 GMT].

Despite the Black Maidens playing out a goalless draw against South Africa in the first leg, coach Mas-Ud Didi Dramani still believes that they will avoid conceding a goal and win against the Bantwana at home.

“We played well against South Africa but they were very good tactically and came at us strongly,” the Ghana coach said after the first leg.

“I believe we have an advantage going into the second leg at home. We know what we must do to win and ensure we book ourselves a ticket to Azerbaijan.”

The Black Maidens now have to win the return game to seal their place in the finals to be hosted by Azerbaijan later this year.

Ghana are chasing one of the three final slots for places in Azerbaijan 2012.

Qualification to the World Cup will make it a third successive appearance for the Black Maidens on the world stage.
