Ghana, armed with a strong first leg win over Cameroon in the qualifying for the FIFA Women's U-17 World Cup are aiming for a home victory to ensure progress.

The Black Maidens won 1-0 in the first leg in Yaounde but team coach Mas-aud Didi Dramani is approaching Sunday's game at the Accra Sports Stadium at 3:00pm local time with enough caution, insisting the tie is not yet over.

A fortnight ago, Jane Ayieyam scored the match winner at the Ahmadou Ahidjo Stadium in Yaounde to hand the Black Maidens a first leg victory.

It's advantage Ghana but for Dramani, that's only on paper.

“We are very hopeful but we are very, very cautious as well,” the coach told www.ghanafa.org in an interview.

“It looks like a done deal on paper after beating them in Cameroon but for it’s not over yet.

“We are well prepared both physically and psychology. We have psyched up the girls and explained to them why they don’t have to be complacent. We will stay focused and do what we have to do on Sunday.”

Ghana are pushing for one the three slots available to the continent for the World Cup in Azerbaijan later in September 2012 and that remains the Black Maidens' ultimate aim.

“Our aim is to qualify for the World Cup but we first have to advance to the last stage of the qualifiers. We can only achieve that by kicking Cameroon out,” Dramani added.

Qualification to the World Cup would make it a third successive appearance for Ghana on the world stage.
