Mahatma Otoo has insisted that Sunday's centenary year celebrations defeat by Nigeria's Enugu Rangers would not dampen their attempt to beat rivals, Asante Kotoko.

The 2-1 defeat was Hearts of Oak's second consecutive loss [first to Dwarfs in the Glo Premier League on last Wednesday] in five days ahead of the top of the table clash at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday.

Hearts trail their rivals by a point but are quickly putting behind them the disappointment in time for the league meeting against Kotoko, says Otoo, who will lead out the Phobians on Sunday.

"Kotoko has a strong midfield and if we take control of that then we can win," he said.

"We have to put the Enugu defeat behind us quickly and focus on the game with points at stake."
