With Ghana’s premier league going on a break to make way for the African Cup of Nations, two premiership sides would get busy playing a part in the build up for the CAN.

Beginning today, two premiership sides will play African Cup of Nations finalist, Zambia, in two separate test games as the Chipolopolo get ready for Group C.

First to come up against the Zambia squad on Wednesday is Kessben FC, who are placed 7th on the Onetouch Premier League table after ten matches.

The match comes off at the Anane Boateng Stadium in Abrankese, the home grounds of the premiership debutants which is some 20 minutes drive from Kumasi where the Zambians are based in Group C.

Zambia would round up preparations towards the Ghana 2008 Africa Cup of Nations with another match on Friday, some 48-hours before the start of the competition when they play King Faisal, also a premiership team based in Kumasi at the same match venue.

The games form part of Zambia’s preparations for the tournament after losing their last test game 2-0 to Morocco before arriving in Ghana on Sunday.

Zambia will begin their Nations Cup campaign on January 22 against Sudan at the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi.

The Chipolopolo also play Cameroon and defending champions, Egypt, all in Group C.
