Two first half goals was enough to help Heart of Lions go past Liberty Professionals at the Kpando Park.

Godfred Asante and Benjamin Fadi scored within 15 minutes to lift Lions to seventh on the standings and a point ahead of Liberty.

Liberty went into the game on the back of a 5-0 thrashing of Bechem but could not continue their run.
