Yussif Huzaifa’s 22nd minute goal handed Techiman Liberty Youth a slim victory over Young Apostles in Zone One of the Access Bank Division One League. Young Apostles were simply unstoppable before the turn of the year as they moved to the top of the table in Zone One B but the defeat moves them to the second spot with 26 points as Techiman Liberty Youth takes over the top spot with 27 points.

Meanwhile, Maana FC defeated Techiman Heroes 2-1 at home to appreciate on the League log. Former Aduana FC winger, Samuel Bioh scored the first goal for Techiman Heroes but Maana FC equalized through Alhassan Ibrahim’s effort in the 80th minute before Issahaku Nasiru scored the wining goal in the dying embers of the encounter.

Still in the Zone, Victory Club Warriors recorded a 1-0 victory against Tamale City at home with Hayford Boafo netting the only goal of the match in the 59th minute.
