Liberty Professionals have advanced to the finals of the Wafu Club Championship.

The Ghanaian side beat Burkinabe side ASFA Yennega 5-2 at the Ohene Djan Stadium on Monday to seal their place in the sub-regional finals.

Yennega drew first blood but Liberty rallied back to score five with goals coming from striker Latif Salifu, who hit a hat-trick and a goal each from Ivorian import Kevin Kouadio and Mawuli Tuglo.

The final tournament will be staged in Togo in December.
