Liberty Professionals rally back to earn draw against Legon Cities FC

Liberty Professionals FC survived an early scare to the start of life in the Ghana Premier League after coming from two goals down to secure a 2-2 draw against Legon Cities FC.

Striker Elvis Kyei Baffuor (77th minute) and captain Michael Ampadu (89th minute) provided the needed inspiration to cancel out the two beautiful strikes from Legon Cities' Sulley Sadick and captain Jeffery Degorl in the 24th and 69th minutes respectively, as they share the spoils at the Carl Reindorf Stadium in Dansoman.

Both sides provided an entertaining game with numerous end-to-end actions in their matchday 1 premier league match  which witnessed beautiful goals in Dansoman.

The Dansoman based side will look to do better when they travel to Berekum for the second week match in the ongoing 2019/2020 Ghana Premier League against an in - form Chelsea side who secured victory away at the Accra Sports Stadium in a concurrent fixture.
