Sempe FI FC, Port City, WAFA, and Na God return home to face tricky tests on Matchday 3 of the Access Bank Division One League. Port City got off to a flying start with a 2-1 win over FC Nania in Kukurantumi but suffered a setback on Matchday 2, losing to Attram De Visser, which threw their campaign off gear. They return to their favored grounds to take on Golden Warriors on Sunday. Golden Warriors have suffered back-to-back defeats in the zone, losing 2-1 to Hakla FC and Na God FC in their first two matches. The newly promoted side will need to play above themselves to pick up a point on the road, given Port City's impressive home record.
In Sogakope, WAFA will face Accra Lions after securing a 2-0 win over True Democracy at the McDan Sports Complex. Evans Adeti and Eyram Sappor scored two second-half goals to down True Democracy, making amends after the home loss to Okwahu United.
League leaders Okwahu United travel to Teshie as guests of True Democracy after picking up two wins from their first two matches. The Soccer Mountaineers piped WAFA 1-0 on the road before beating Golden Warriors 1-0 at the Carl Reindorff Park in Dansoman on Matchday 2. With two goals in two matches, Okwahu United sit at the top of the table in Zone Three with 6 points.
At the Legon Nania Park, Sempe FI will host FC Nania, while Na God squares off against Accra Great Olympics at the Teshie McDan Astro Turf.
