Premier League leaders Karela United have won only one game in their last three fixtures return home to take on former champions Aduana Football club on match day 17 of the Premier League. As the first round of the competition is winding up, participating clubs are pushing to end on a high.

Karela United lost 2-0 to Asante Kotoko at home, beat Ebusua Dwarfs 2-1 in Cape Coast before falling heavily to WAFA on match day 16, the defeat which saw their lead cut to one point.

Head Coach Evans is on national assignment with the Satellites but assistant Stephen Abugri has held the position diligently in his absence. Their dynamism is unique with Sadiq Alhassan anchoring the midfield in the holding role with Umar Bashiru.

Diawisie Taylor and Kwame Boateng have been banging in the goals for the Ayinase side especially at home.

Aduana FC made a change to their squad this week following the departure of Samuel Fabin. The former Ghana U-17 boss has been replaced by Asare Bediako. They look like a team out of sought as their performance has been erratic.

Striker Yahaya Mohammed got back to scoring duties in their last fixture at home but his inconsistent showing on the road is a bother to the club.

The game is scheduled for the Crosby Awuah Memorioal park on Saturday, March 6, 2021.
