Asante Kotoko picked an important win to move second on the premiership standings to keep the pressure on leaders, Kessben FC.
The Porcupine Warriors managed a 1-0 victory against AshantiGold at the Len Clay Stadium courtesy a first half strike by Louis Agyemang.
Kotoko, are a point adrift Kessben, after Bashir Hayford's side could only draw 1-1 at home with champions Aduana Stars.
