Asante Kotoko took all the spoils as they needed a last-gasp Nafiu Iddrisu goal to beat Mighty Jets 1-0 at the Baba Yara Stadium on Wednesday.

Jets frustrated the Porcupine Warriors and looked the better side in the second half.

Frustrated Kotoko fans had started making their way out of the stadium when the substitute, Nafiu nodded in a cross from the right side of attack to send the stadium in thunderous jubilation.

The win sends Kotoko back to the summit after rivals, Hearts of Oak lost away and it presents them a real boost ahead of their big meeting in Accra against the Phobians in the next round of matches.
