Last batch of Women’s Premier League matches to be played this weekend

The Ghana Football Association is delighted to announce that the last batch of matches for the 2020/21 Women’s Premier League season be will be played this weekend across the country.

The season has been super exciting with some scintillating display of skills, passion and talents from players of the various clubs in both zones - Northern and Southern.

In the Northern Zone, Ampem Darkoa Ladies won the zonal title three weeks ago and are in reckoning for the national title. They Techiman based side have set an impeccable of playing the entire season without defeat – as they amassed 33 points - 11 points clear of second placed Kumasi Sports Academy with one game to end the season.

Hasaacas Ladies on the other hand are winners of the Southern Zone. With a game to spare, The Sekondi side have gathered 33 points, 5 points ahead of second placed Berry Ladies – setting the stage for an epic final between them on July 5, 2021.
