Kwabena, Samuel Owusu to start for Black Stars in crucial against Guinea Bissau

Samuel Owusu and Kwabena Owusu will start for the Black Stars in their AFCON 2019 third group stage match against Guinea Bissau.

Ghana is poised for victory in the match to ensure qualification to the round of 16 stage of the competition.

John Boye returns from suspension and will start in central defense alongside tournament debutant Joseph Aidoo with Richard Ofori in post.

Andy Yiadom and Baba Rahman will retain their positions at the right and left back positions respectively.

Jordan Ayew will once again spearhead Ghana’s attack with youngsters Kwabena Owusu and Samuel Owusu on the flanks while Thomas Partey, Mubarak Wakaso and Andre Ayew form the midfield trio.

The game is scheduled to kick off at 6pm local time (4pm GMT) at the Suez Stadium.
