League leaders, Kumasi Asante Kotoko managed to pick all the points at stake from the Carl Reindorff park where they won 2-1 over Liberty Professionals.

Poor anticipation by Liberty Professionals goalkeeper, Nana Bonsu ensured that the Porcupine Warriors went ahead as Osei Kwame Jnr capitalized on the error to hit the ball into the post for the opener in the 20th minute.

Asante Kotoko after the goal slowed down the tempo of the game and Liberty Professionals came in strongly.

Eighteen minutes later, Kofi Nti Boakye laid the ball into the path of Kwadwo Owusu Addai to strike a fierce shot to the right side of goalkeeper, Mohammed Alhassan for the equalizer.

Both sides ended the first half 1-1.

In the second half, John Cudjoe ensured the Porcupine Warriors victory when he shot home the winner with some 10 minutes to go.
