New champions, Asante Kotoko have opened a 13-point lead on their way to finishing the season.

The Porcupine Warriors who won the league title over the weekend bounced back to action on Thursday to complete a league double over All Stars as they run away with a 2-0 win at the Wa Park.

The fixture originally scheduled for Wednesday but was rained off after 36 minutes of play.

The defeat leaves the Blues reeling under pressure as they try to avoid a possible drop depending on the results of other teams in the remaining two games.

Kwabena Yaro, who grabbed a brace, put the Reds in the lead after 17 minutes when he tapped in on rebound from a shot by Eric Bekoe which was spilled into his way.

Yaro scored the second goal in the second period of the match after a defensive mix up by presented him with an easy task of making it 2-0 for Kotoko in the 63rd minute.
