It's another busy weekend of top-flight football across the country with the focus on a troubled Asante Kotoko and a bruised Hearts of Oak as either side seeks to turn the corner.

The on and off field issues surrounding Kotoko, who this week asked head coach David Duncan to step aside after a disastrous start to the campaign will be tested before their home fans in Kumasi when they welcome high-scoring Liberty Professionals to the Baba Yara Stadium.

For many, the controversies are over after Life Patron of the club, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, stepped in calm down feuding factions following a misunderstanding between Duncan and the management.

Sitting bottom of the log after six games remains a shock and lots will be expected from the players acting head coach Michael Osei. However, Liberty could further stoke the fires by inflicting defeat to a side, already in misery.

Still reeling from their first defeat of the season, Hearts of Oak face another tricky encounter as they travel to the Brong Ahafo Region to face debutants, Techiman City.

Amid the pain from their loss to Wa All Stars last Sunday, ?Kenichi Yatsuhashi remains optimistic about their chances of returning to winning ways.

“Our team right now is in very good condition. Our spirit is high and nothing changes from the first game and we are trying to do our best in each game and improve from game to game,” Kenichi said ahead of the game.

“We analyzed the mistakes we made [against AllStars]. It had nothing to do with our physical condition; it had nothing to do with our lack of focus, not at all. We had other problems which we had to fix and which we did yesterday and today at our training.”

Leaders, Wa All Stars face a huge task to roll over Ebusua Dwarfs who will be visitors at the Wa Stadium.

Dreams FC, who are back in contention for the top spot will be away to champions, AshantiGold at the Len Clay Stadium while WAFA take on New Edubiase at Sogakope.

In Berekum, Chelsea will battle it out with Aduana Stars for all the spoils as Bechem United attempt to pile the pressure on Inter Allies the Tema Stadium.
