Asante Kotoko could only draw goalless with Berekum Arsenals on Boxing Day to end an indifferent run of form capping the first round fixtures as both sides have now played 15 games apiece with the rest of the other Premier League sides.

The two sides clashed at the Golden City Park to replay their match-day-6 fixture which failed to kick off on October 6, 2010 due to clash of stripes.

With a point earned from Sunday's game, Asante Kotoko are now one point above the side that is third from bottom on the standings going into the second half stage of the season next year.

The lively encounter played in the absence of Kotoko's Serbian coach Bogdan Korak saw the home side, Arsenals hit the crossbar twice in either half of the game as they created more scoring chances than their opponents.
