Kotoko defeat Bechem to maintain title charge

Asante Kotoko are closing on a second-straight title following a 2-1 win over Bechem United at the Baba Yara Stadium on Sunday.

The Porcupine Warriors now have six more games to go to return the title back to Kumasi having opened a 10-point lead at the summit of the table.

Augustine Okrah scored from the spot in between Abdul Yusif Aziz's double for Kotoko.

Okrah's goal puts in the lead of the top-scorers chart as he is on 11 goals now and one better than Kotoko's Seidu Bancey.

Kotoko now have Heart of Lions on their heels after they defeated Hearts of Oak. The Phobians have dropped to third and 12 points behind Kotoko.
