Bechem United on Saturday recorded an historic win against Inter Allies at the Accra sports stadium.

The Hunters thus recorded their first win against Inter Allies in an away duel after six attempts following a 2-1 at win at the Accra Sports Stadium on Saturday in the Ghana Premier League.

They had managed only a point from their previous five travels to Allies.

Inter Allies made two changes to the squad that lost 1-0 to King Faisal Babes last week in Techiman with Richmond Lamptey returning from injury to replace Alex Aso in the starting lineup. Patrick Armah also took the place of Richard Acquaah in defence.

Bechem United coach Kwaku Danso also made three changes to the team that held Aduana Stars to a scoreless stalemate in Dormaa.

Prince Asempa replaced Daniel Afadzwu in post. While, Emmanuel Asante came in for Boubacar Sidiki Doumbia.

Captain Salifu Moro led by example as he opened the scoring for the visitors from the spot just six minutes after recess.

Inter Allies pulled parity few minutes later through defender Paul Abanga who also scored from spot.

Striker Hafiz Wontah Konkoni recorded his second goal of the campaign as he put the Hunters ahead in the 83rd minute of the game.

The Hunters held on until full time as they walk away with the maximum points in an entertaining game at the Accra sports stadium.

Bechem stretch their unbeaten run to four matches with that vital away victory having managed two wins and two draws so far in the season.

This is a second defeat on the spin for Inter Allies who have yet to win a game since their 1-0 win against Accra Hearts of Oak on match day three.
