Asante Kotoko wants win after opening their league campaign with a draw last Sunday at the Tema Park against Tema Youth.

Despite taking the lead, the Porcupine Warriors were pegged back by the home side to leave them with a share of the spoils.

Ahead of their first home game of the season, Kotoko coach Maxwell Konadu says picking a point in their first match was not too bad a result.

"It [1-1 draw with Tema Youth] was not a bad result. We would have wanted to pick the three points but playing away from home and getting a point is not bad," the Kotoko coach said.

Konadu is aware that his side face a difficult opposition, AshantiGold, on Sunday and has warned his side to improve on their slow start.

"It's just the beginning of the season and we expect to improve as the season progresses."
