Konadu names starting line up for CHAN qualifier against Ivory Coast

Homebased Black Stars Coach Maxwell Konadu has named a strong side for today’s 2016 CHAN qualifying second leg tie against the Elephants of Ivory Coast.

Ashantigold skipper Lawrence Lartey, Baba Mensah and Abeiku Ainooson will all start in this afternoon’s crunch qualifier with Godfred Saka and Tijani Joshua at the right-back and left-back positions respectively.

Wa All Stars goalkeeper Richard Ofori will once again be in post for Ghana as midfielders Emmanuel Sabahn Laryea, Samuel Tetteh and Kennedy Ashia maintain their positions in the first XI.

Asokwa Deportivo’s promising striker Joel Fameyeh who hit a brace in the first leg, will once again lead the Black Stars ‘B’ attack against the Ivorians and will be partnered by Daniel Darkwah.

The match is expected to kick off at 3:30pm at the Stade Robert Champroux in Abidjan.

The Home based Black Stars won the first leg match 2-1 at the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi a fortnight ago.
