Laryea Kingston has been hit with a heavy club fine but his agent insists that the Ghana international still has a future at Hearts.

The Black Stars midfielder was today handed a fine for the maximum four weeks' wages following a breach of club discipline.

According to the club, the fine is for "unacceptable conduct" in the period following last month's game at St Johnstone by Kingston.

And it comes at a time when the player's future at Hearts has been the subject of intense speculation in recent weeks after coach Csaba Laszlo expressed his disgust at the Ghana international for putting country before earlier this month.

But Hearts claim the fine was not related to Kingston's decision to play twice for Ghana during the recent international break despite being declared injured by the club.

Laszlo has hinted he will be prepared to end Kingston's future with Hearts as a result of the impasse but Aryat Imanov, the player’s agent says the issue has been blown out of proportion and insist the player still has a future at the club.

“There is no problem there, nothing to worry about," Imamov said."Larry will stay at Hearts for sure, it is not a question. Believe me, it is nothing serious.

“I don't want to say anything more at the moment but we are not concerned about the situation.”

His contract with Hearts expires at the end of the current season.
