Lifting the 2010 African Nations Cup title would represent a personal triumph for Richard Kingson as he makes his fifth tournament appearance.

The Ghana goalkeeper brings a lot of experience to the team having helped the Black Stars to bronze in the last competition two year ago.

However, Kingson knows Ghana can do better in Angola with the Black Stars set to kick start their Group B campaign against Ivory Coast in Cabinda on Friday.

Kingson in an interview with GNA, admitted that the Black Stars will be coming up against a good and an experienced Ivorian side but says they would be doing their utmost best.

"We will do our very best to come out victorious since every member of the team has set his eyes on the trophy".

"We watched their [Ivory Coast] match against Burkina Faso last Monday and they are a very good side with a lot talented, quality and experienced players," the 31-year-old shot-stopper said.

A goalless draw in the opening match with Burkina Faso has left the Ivorians faced the prospect of early exit as they prepare for their final group match.

With Togo having pulled out of the competition in the wake of the attack on its team bus that left three people dead, each team in Group B now plays just two games.

"They [Ivory Coast] have what it takes to deliver but our team is ready to take them on. The boys have been prepared psychologically, physically and spiritually to do battle and we shall deliver on Friday," Kingson added.
