Greater Accra booked their place in the semi-finals of the 2025 KGL U17 Inter-Regional Colts Championship with a decisive Group A triumph at the Ghanaman Soccer Centre of Excellence in Prampram on Wednesday.

The capital side topped the group with 14 points, finishing three clear of defending champions Western Region, who secured second place on 11 points. Volta Region followed in third with a respectable nine points after a competitive campaign.

Upper West claimed fourth position on six points, edging Northern Region, who collected five. Elite Academy (Bolga) endured a difficult tournament and finished bottom of the standings without registering a point.

With their consistent form and unbeaten record, Greater Accra head into Thursday’s semi-final fixtures as one of the tournament favourites.

They will be joined by Western Region, the reigning champions, as Group A’s qualifiers for the knockout stage at the Prampram technical centre.
