Participants of the 2025 KGL U-17 Inter-Regional Championship took part in a one-day medical seminar on Wednesday, September 24, 2025, at the Ghanaman Soccer Centre of Excellence (GSCE).

The session aimed to equip players, coaches, officials and referees with essential knowledge on health, safety and emergency response.

The seminar featured a guidance and counselling session supervised by Dr. Dickson Bandoh, a renowned neurosurgeon, focusing on participant wellbeing and preparedness in emergencies.  The event was facilitated by Dr. Christian Baah, head of the medical team and medical officer for both the Ghana Football Association (GFA) and the Confederation of African Football (CAF).

Dr. Baah received strong support from the medical staff, working tirelessly to ensure the safety and welfare of all involved in the talent identification championship.

The tournament moves into the semi-final stage on Thursday, September 25, with Greater Accra facing Ashanti Region and Central Region taking on Western Region at the GSCE.

The winners will advance to the final at the McDan Teshie Sports Complex on Saturday September 27, promising an exciting conclusion to this year’s championship.
