Great Corinthians scored late to down Battor Delali FC 1-0 in the KGL Foundation U-17 Inter Club Champions League at the Madina Astro Turf.
The keenly contested encounter was heading to a pulsating draw before Eric Abeiku struck from a free kick in the second half for the opener. Delali FC forward Adu Agbemo missed a penalty moments before Abeiku’s match winner in the 80th minute as Corinthians deservedly walked away with all the spoils.
