Black Galaxies head coach Kassim Mingle Ocansey has commended his players following their 1-0 defeat to South Africa in an international friendly. He expressed confidence in the team’s potential, emphasizing the value of the experience gained against a strong opponent.

"Because the league is ongoing, we didn’t have much time to prepare, but the work was intensive. This game was an eye-opener, and I believe we are building a strong CHAN team. The players performed very well against a tough opponent, and we have a bright future ahead," Ocansey said.

The Black Galaxies will now shift their focus to the 2026 CHAN qualifiers.
