Liberty Professionals made it two wins out of two matches when they beat Eleven Wonders 1-0 on match day 20 of the Ghana Premier League at the Len Clay Stadium in Obuasi on Sunday.

The match was played in Obuasi because Eleven Wonders have been banned from playing at the Ohene Ameyaw Park in Techiman.

Wonders coach Ignatius Osei-Fosu made four changes to the squad that held Ebusua Dwarfs to a 1-1 draw in Cape Coast.

McCarthy Ofori, Abdul Razaq Jafar, Nana Kobina Osoh and Sadat Abass Monarh took the place of Clement Boahen, Tetteh Nortey, George Osei Amponsah and Perry Addison respectively.

Liberty Professionals saw majority of the ball in the first half and created chances but failed to bury them.

Top marksman Kwaku Karikari scored in the 50th minute following a swift counter attack from Liberty Professionals.

The Scientific Soccer lads have now moved to 21 points – but still stay in the relegation Zone as they sit in 16th place in the League table and host Berekum Chelsea in their next match.

Eleven Wonders who have yet to win a match in the second round of the League travel to Sogakope to face WAFA SC in their next match.
