
Justice Kwasi Anin-Yeboah has been elected Deputy Chairperson of the FIFA Adjudicatory Chamber for a four-year term. This appointment was announced at the 75th FIFA Congress in Asunción, Paraguay.
As Deputy Chairperson, Justice Anin-Yeboah will play a key role in investigating and deciding cases related to ethics violations in football. The Adjudicatory Chamber is responsible for:
- Reviewing reports from the Investigatory Chamber
- Deciding whether to proceed with or close a case
- Imposing sanctions based on FIFA's codes and statutes
Justice Anin-Yeboah brings valuable experience to this role, having served as the 14th Chief Justice of Ghana and previously working with FIFA and the Ghana Football Association. His contributions to football governance will likely have a positive impact on the sports.
