Juliet Appiah to officiate FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup qualifier between Cote D'voire and Sierra Leone

FIFA referee Juliet Appiah has been appointed to officiate the upcoming FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup qualifier between Côte d'Ivoire and Sierra Leone, scheduled for Friday, April 17, 2026.

The Ghanaian official will be supported by an experienced all-female officiating team, with compatriots Mary Tei and Esuman Darko Doris serving as assistant referees. Rita Nkansah-Boateng has been designated as the fourth official.

Togolese Ayawa Mana Mawuofemo will serve as Match Commissioner while Nigeria’s Faith Uwugiarem Irabor takes up the role of Referee Assessor.

The fixture will be played at the Stade Charles Konan Banny in Yamoussoukro, setting the stage for a high-stakes encounter as both nations vie for progression in the global showpiece qualifiers.
