Ghana male Under-20 team coach Orlando Wellington has called up six foreign-based players for the weekend's final qualifying for the 2011 African Youth Championship.

Olympique Marseille attacker Jordan Ayew, who already has two international caps to his name, having played for the senior national side and Vicenza's Salifu Amidu are the latest call ups into the Black Satellites by Wellington.

The duo together with regular members Mahatma Otoo, Afriyie Acquah, Richmond Boakye-Yiadom and James Bissue, all foreign-based will be competing for places in the team dominated by local players.

The bulk of the Black Satellites squad on Monday resumed preparations for the weekend's qualifier.

Ghana will host Benin at home after recording an impressive 2-0 first leg win in Cotonou three weeks ago.

Ebo Andoh and Richmond Boakye-Yiadom scored to hand the Black Satellites the initiative ahead of the reverse clash.

Ghana is now just 90 minutes away from sealing a place at the 2011 African Youth Championship finals where the Black Satellites would defend the continental title won in 2009.

Seven teams will qualify for next year's finals along with hosts Libya.
