A second-half goal from Abubakar Sidi secured a 1-0 victory for Mighty Jets over 10-man Liberty Professionals at the Accra Sports Stadium.

The Tudu-side took the lead 11 minutes after the break on Thursday when Sidi swept in.

Six minutes before the goal, Liberty were reduced to by a man after Christopher Nkansah was dismissed for a second bookable offence in the 60th minute.

Mighty Jets have now moved out of the relegation zone ahead of the weekend's away fixture in Sekondi against Medeama.
