Women's Football Development Officer, Jennifer Amankwah Sarpong has reaffirmed the Association's commitment to creating sustainable opportunities for young girls through the FIFA Women's Football Campaign.

Speaking during the outreach programme in Tumu, Jennifer highlighted the GFA's Women's Football Strategy, which focuses on identifying, nurturing and developing young female talents through structured pathways from grassroots to elite football.

She encouraged participants to embrace the opportunities available through initiatives such as the Catch Them Youngprogramme, the Elite U-17 Girls Colts Championship, regional competitions and national youth teams, stressing that every girl's football journey begins with dedication and hard work.

Jennifer noted that the FIFA Women's Football Campaign goes beyond the game by empowering girls with education, confidence and life skills while creating an environment where they can thrive both on and off the pitch.

She urged the young participants to remain committed to their dreams, emphasizing that the GFA will continue to invest in programmes that support the growth and development of women's football across the country.
